Cuvee Benkovac 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah

The wine Cuvee Benkovac is a blend of the world most famous grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Syrah) and a combination of different localities within the Benkovac winegrowing area. Each of the above varieties contributes in creating this wine’s abundance and structure. The wine is dominated by the elegance of Merlot through freshness, softness and smoothness, then there is the structure and strength of Cabernet sauvignon emphasized through blueberry aromas as well as the emphasized spicy notes of Syrah making this wine warm and well-balanced. It is a wine of vivid deep red colour with purple tones, elegant and complex in flavours and fragrances. The powerful tannins structure and the mildly pronounced freshness will safeguard the further wine quality development in the bottle. In gastronomic terms, this wine is for everyday consumption, and a perfect match with simple dark meat dishes, fish and ripe cheeses, served at 16 -18°C
